Dahil May Isang Ikaw Final Episode (January 15, 2010)

Amidst all the criticisms, I still think the final episode of Dahil May Isang Ikaw is beautiful. I am so relieved that Tessa did not die. (By the time we were watching it, most of us have just finished watching May Bukas Pa where Mayor Enrique, played by Albert Martinez was shot and killed by his brother, Robert - played by Ron Morales. I was telling myself, "Oh no, please don't let two major characters from two major teleseryes die in just one night.") Well, thank goodness, I am very pleased with the ending.

Tessa, not ending up with either Daniel or Jaime (at least, up to this point, and left hanging) was just good enough ... safe enough. Of course, I'm happy about what happened with Patricia. Who wouldn't? Although Daniel did not go back to prison, despite all his crimes, at least there was his sincere intention to repent and change, if only for his promise to Red.

All's well that ends well for Ella and Miguel and it's so nice to see them sweet and happy at last. (I agree with the fans ... more projects, please, for Echo and Tin!!!)

Sigh. Congratulations and farewell, Dahil May Isang Ikaw. Hello and good luck, Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo.
